The Origins of FORAVI
The initial success of Foravi occurred in the '80s. At this time Foravi was at the forefront of the Downtown SoHo fashion scene. The signature Foravi brand "SoHo" T-shirt solidified an image and notoriety that spread rapidly due to the one-of-a-kind graphic design.
Foravi took off from there with no sign of looking back.
New York's most Iconic individuals began wearing Foravi brand including everyone from Cher and John F. Kennedy Jr. to Steven Spielberg and Robert Deniro and more.
The surgenence of success that Foravi had enabled them to expand.
Foravi continued to make huge strides in the fashion world, growing into a contender in the global fashion industry. By '89 Foravi had over 16 locations including a T-Shirt and Tea shop in Tokyo, Japan.
A few years later, Devora took over full operations of Foravi while Richard took time to focus on his personal art. As this shift happened, so did the overall direction and market for Foravi. It became more of a reflection of the personal timeless taste of Devora.
Devora was born and raised in Israel, she came to the New York to follow her passion of art and expression. Devora has a sort of sacred respect for the artistry of fashion. With ideals focused on fine artistry, quality merchandise and one-of-a-kind pieces living in the Foravi storefront, Devora makes it her priority to stay up to date of the functions within the fashion industry.
Devora remains at the forefront of tastemakers within the new york fashion scene by combing through the product seen fresh off of the New York and Paris runways. Foravi merchandise is comprised of 30% of original Foravi designs with the rest of the product being hand picked by the designer herself, Devora,
